Projected regional final
- Gunter vs. Godley (11-0): It was practically a coin-flip decision between the Tigers and Pilot Point, who figureĀ to meet in the second round. Godley gets Winnsboro in the second round after felling Troy 34-0 on Thursday.

Division II
Overview
TheĀ best teams among these 16 could be district runners-up:
Best bidistrict matchup
- Melissa (8-2) vs. Prairiland (9-1), 7:30 p.m. Friday @HBJ Stadium, Garland
Best teams (not necessarily region finalists)
- Aubrey (10-1): Cruised past Millsap 34-7 on Thursday.
- McGregor (10-0): The bracket's only unbeaten team won District 16-3A.
Dark horse
- Callisburg (8-2): Played well in losses to Aubrey and Pilot Point.
Projected regional final
- Aubrey vs. Grandview (8-1): G.A. Moore's first Chaparrals team plays tough defense, and will need it to get through this bracket. The Zebras and their unique helmets are a tentative pick; Callisburg and the Melissa-Prairiland winner just as easily could be here. But Moore has more.
- CoachesAid.com pick: Aubrey.
