Cross Country
CIML Central Conference Invitational, Thursday
The meet will be held in Indianola at Pickard Park. Some of the participating schools are: Ankeny, Dowling Catholic, Indianola, Johnston, Southeast Polk and Urbandale.
CIML Iowa Conference Invitational, Thursday
The meet will be held in Waukee at Centennial Park. Participating schools include: Ames, Fort Dodge, Marshalltown, Mason City, Valley (West Des Moines) and Waukee.
Football
North Fayette at Cascade (Western Dubuque), Friday
This is one of the hottest games in class 2-A on Friday night. #5 ranked North Fayette will face #2 Cascade on the road. Both teams go into the game undefeated for the regular season. Will there be an upset win?
Solon at Regina (Iowa City), Friday
The hottest game of Friday night in class 2-A is the battle of #1 and #2. #1 ranked and defending class 2-A champions, Solon, faces #.2 ranked Regina. Both teams are undefeated for the regular season. This game is setup for a great night of high school football performances by the two top ranked teams. Will there be an upset which will cause a shake-up of the rankings?
St. Albert (Council Bluffs) at Griswold, Friday
The “Battle of the Top Ten” ranked teams in class 1-A is #2 St. Albert against #7 Griswold. Both teams are undefeated for the regular season.
Johnston at Ankeny, Friday
Unranked Johnston who is 5-2 for the season faces #3 ranked Ankeny on Friday. Ankeny is 6-1 for the season and comes into the game with great team performances. Will Johnston be able to pull off an upset win against Ankeny?
Waukee at Marshalltown, Friday
On Friday the top “Battle of the Top Ten” ranked teams in class 4-A happens in Marshalltown. #4 ranked Marshalltown hosts #9 ranked Waukee. Marshalltown in 7-0 for the season and Waukee is 5-2. Both teams are performing very well this season and top performances are expected by the players. Will there be an upset victory?

Marshalltown Diving Invitational, Saturday
The meet starts at 10 a.m. held at Marshalltown High School. The competing schools are: Ames, Boone, Grinnell, Linn-Mar (Marion), Newton, and Valley.
Ankeny at Bishop Heelan (Sioux City) Invitational, Saturday
Top-ranked Ankeny plays Bishop Heelan on Saturday. Ankeny is top-ranked and undefeated for the season.
